i'm naturally a shy person and so this whole blog thing is an HUGE step out of my comfort zone, but here goes.
i love reading blogs, it's a peek...into an unfamiliar world. for a few brief moments i get to experience the things that other people (namely my peers) are experiencing. i happened upon a lovely blog a while back dedicated to a young couple and their uber awesomeness (derek + catharine) ... and i have been addicted ever since. according to one of their latest posts, i must step out of my comfort zone to live a fresh and modern life. so why not start with a blog of my own, phil (the husband) is always telling me to share my ideas ... probably b/c he doesn't want to hear them :) so i'll start with a little insight into the world of the dom (that's me!)
i work ... everyday ... in the deadline/production/stress infested world known as finance. i secretly day dream of starting my own business, maybe a flower shop .. but who knows, it changes every week. i never thought that i would be married and living in houston ... but that's the beautiful thing about life, it's unpredictable! my best friend in the whole world is my husband and i'm not sure how i even existed before he came into my life. i don't care for caffeine much, in fact i can't remember the last time i had any ... my drug is water, can't get enough of it. i have an affinity for animals, i love all of them and if phil would let me i'd bring each stray home. i have a strange obsession with home decor magazines, i think i may have a problem (i can blame my mom for that). i guess that's all i have for now, i'm sure there is much more about myself that i will divulge in the coming posts.
